Aussie Millions 2008 Team

Poker became a passion for Bernard Grossenbacher two years ago after watching the game on television, studying it online and in various books. When not playing poker, Bernard works as the Chief of Nursing in a psychiatric clinic. The Swiss native enjoys playing poker live and online and favors No Limit Texas Holdem. Bernard was very happy when he found out he won a $12,500 Aussie Millions Freeroll. “It is my best result and what is even better is knowing that I will get a chance to meet some of the legends of poker; It is fantastic.” When not playing poker, Bernard enjoys chess, music, literature and “having a barbeque with family and friends.” Bernard has also recently competed in a major live tournament in Europe, so he feels prepared to take on the Aussie Millions. This will be his first visit to Australia and he admits “it has always been a dream for me to come to this great country.” He is proud to be one of the founding members of the local Swiss ‘Full Holdem Poker Club’ which participates actively with other poker clubs around Switzerland working to organize major tournaments.
