Cesar Rivera is a full time poker player who has been playing professionally for the past three years. He started playing poker because it was “a fun way to earn money.” Cesar plays online everyday and favours No Limit Texas Holdem. The Spaniard’s biggest poker success is winning a $110,000 guaranteed tournament online. He admits feeling “ecstatic” when he found out he won a $12,500 Aussie Millions Freeroll. “My wife and I jumped up and started to chant, ‘Austraaaaalia, Austraaaalia!’ Our neighbours didn’t appreciate it.” When not playing poker, Cesar enjoys “walking the streets listening to really loud rock ‘n’ roll music on my iPod and also enjoying a good meal with my wife and friends.” Cesar has enjoyed considerable success in the poker circuit including cashing in the 2006 World Series Main Event.
