Affiliate Manager

Looking to get involved with one of the poker industry's leading media company? We're currently looking for affiliate managers around the globe.

Requirements:

  • Experience in marketing using a range of acquisition tools
  • 3 years of experience in online marketing and gaming
  • Self-starter with the passion for marketing and poker
  • Methodical, focused, and persuasive with keen attention to detail
  • Solid communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable and flexible with ability to multi task
  • Ability to set priorities and execute with excellent time management
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, negotiation, and business development skills

Responsibilities:

  • Finding and recruiting prospective affiliate partners
  • Increasing and maintaining existing client portfolio and working on maximizing acquisition and conversion potential with those partners
  • Managing campaigns performance against deliverables to ensure that optimal results are achieved on each campaign in line with strategic objectives
  • Planning, executing, optimizing and reporting on affiliate campaigns, and performance
  • Formulating basic marketing content, reviews and concepts for campaigns
  • Using existing resources to drive acquisition
  • Creating and implementing online advertising campaigns
  • Completing weekly and monthly reporting
  • Checking and updating sites and campaigns
  • Performing market and competitor analysis
  • Business proposals to potential partners
  • Liaising with Editorial team to drive acquisition, and create advertorials

Location
Candidates from all locations will be considered.

Compensation
Depends on experience.

Ad Sales Associate

PokerNews is looking to expand its team. We're looking for advertising sales professionals who are highly motivated and outgoing.

Requirements:

  • Two to three years experience in sales and customer development
  • Effective use of communication skills to build relationships
  • Work independently and be self motivated
  • Organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the gaming industry
  • Strong knowledge of internet sales methodology
  • "Hunter" instincts

Responsibilities:

  • Build and grow meaningful relationships with clients
  • Consult with clients and demonstrate value of aligning with the PokerNews brand
  • Oversee advertising campaigns from start to end
  • Focus on acquiring new clients
  • Making sales presentations

Location
Candidates from North America, or Europe are preferred.

Live Reporting Blogger

PokerNews is looking for the addition of Live Reporting bloggers to its global leading team. We're seeking highly-motivated experienced writers with a knowledge of the poker world.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time coverage of poker events from around the world
  • Update readers on tournament progress, both general to the event and player-specific
  • Work with Editorial team to recap events daily
  • Interview players

PokerNews Finland Country Manager

We want a highly motivated individual to increase our presence in the Finnish online gaming industry. This position is ideal for anyone wanting to gain significant editorial experience in a rapidly changing dynamic environment.

Role responsibilities

  • Taking accountability of PokerNews Finland website
  • Updating site with all company specific and regional developments
  • Translating articles and promotions from English to Finnish
  • Creating/writing articles of local content
  • Managing the Finnish Poker News forum
  • Publishing news and promotions on PN Finnish Facebook and Twitter accounts
  • Advising on Marketing and region specific Poker Rooms
  • Negotiating Affiliate Deals

Requirements

Essential:
  • Based in Finland
  • Personal history of real money online poker
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Confident with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Knowledge and experience of poker rooms and affiliate marketing
  • Must be fluent (both written and verbal) in both English and Finnish
  • Willingness to work unusual hours
  • Excellent track record of meeting deadlines
  • Experience of using Content Management Systems
Desirable:

Revenue share deal, starting at 30%, with possible increase based on experience.
