Limits and Rake

Sun Poker has a game and limit level to suit all players. Games start with limits as low as .15/.25 and climb as high as 150/300 and can be played in either USD or Euro. With a scale as wide as this, you are sure to find a table that suits your bankroll. The house rake is calculated based on 5% of the pot rounded down to the nearest 25 units. So pot sizes of $5, $10, $15 and $20 will see a rake of 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1.00 $/€/£. Sun Poker has just reduced the rake for shorthanded games, the rake on heads up play will now be capped at 1 $/€/£, if there are 3-4 players the rake will be capped at 2 $/€/£, and when there are five players or more rake will be capped at 3 $/€/£ (except 25/50NL which has a max rake of 5 $/€/£)

Player Traffic

SunPoker can call upon the huge traffic base of the iPoker Network (one of the world's largest poker networks), many sites use the iPoker software, thus Sun Poker is nearly always very busy with lots of players. At peak times players can expect around 5,000 others, or more, online. Off peak this figure drops but is still an impressive 2,000 - 3,000.
