With customer support available in 15 languages (including French, Japanese, German, Italian, Portuguese, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Dutch, Spanish, English, Polish, Greek and Finnish), Everest Poker is one of the first online poker rooms to be multi-national and multi-lingual.
Everest has come a long way since its launch and has grown to be one of the largest poker rooms in the world with some 10,000 players logged in during peak times. Not too shabby considering it’s a standalone poker room and not connected to any of the bigger networks.
Everest Poker has won numerous awards over the years, including "Poker Operator of the Year" and "Hotshot Operator of the Year" at the 2007 eGaming Review Awards. Not only that, Everest Poker won the "Poker Operator of the Year" for a second consecutive year in 2008, and then followed that up by winning CAP Best Poker Affiliate Program in 2009. As if that wasn’t enough, the room won the 2012 iGB Award for Best Affiliate Program — Poker.
At Everest Poker, you can find both Texas hold'em and Omaha being played. Games can be found from micro limits, $0.02/$0.02, up to $10/$10 for no-limit hold’em, $10/$20 for fixed limit, and $1/$1 for pot-limit. When it comes to Omaha, it can be found at the same micro limits and then steadily increases up to $20/$20 for pot-limit and $30/$60 for fixed limit.
The rake at Everest Poker is similar to the industry standard. The size of the rake is based on what level is being played and how many players are involved in the pot. At pot-limit and no-limit tables below $0.10/$0.10, the rake is $0.01 per $0.20 in the pot with a cap at $1 for two to three players, $2 for four to five players and $3 for six to ten players.
Above the $0.20/$0.20 level, Everest Poker takes $0.05 per $1 in the pot as rake but with the same number-of-players cap listed above. For fixed limit at its lower levels, the Everest Poker rake is capped at $0.01 for two to three players, $0.25 for four to five players, and $0.5 for six to ten players. For games above the $0.10/$0.20 limit, the rake is capped at $1 for two to three players, $2 for four to five players, and $3 for six to ten players.
Everest Poker has established itself as a highly respected poker room. For an independent room, not connected to any network, Everest Poker has a large number of regular players. When traffic is at its peak, you can expect to see more than 10,000 players at the tables.
With so many players at the tables, finding a suitable game will be easy. With great promotions running constantly at Everest Poker, you can expect to see the number of players increase even further.
