agressive marketing, and constant satellites give great value
Cons:
many people find the interface cartoonish
Full Tilt have been probably the most aggressive since their launch in 2004. By assembling a team of top pros to represent, and play at the site, this room virtually guaranteed itself good press, and exposure.
At first, average players did not know what to make of Full Tilt, as many were unsure as to why they would want to take their money up against the best in the world. Slowly, but surely this issue has faded, and now Full Tilt are a viable stand alone online poker room, with a solid player base.
The Full Tilt marketing deptartment do the best job of coming up with fun promotions, and adding as much fun to the end users value as any site out there. For example, during the WSOP you could play for 10% of John Juanda, or any of the Full Tilt stars in the main event. This kind of creativity must be noted, and the Tilters have done a great job in this respect.
The software, and payability of the site is great, and every interaction with this site seems to go smoothly. One thing that rubs some players the wrong way is the table view, which can (or can not if you choose) include cartoonish avatars, and sounds that make you feel like you are playing a video game.
The player traffic has increased greatly over the last few months, and I would recommend Full Tilt to those players who enjoy playing for trips, and other fun prizes, as well as those who want to play for serious money.
It should be noted that Full Tilt is one of the very few rooms to offer Razz, and there is always at least one Razz game going.
