We were down to 11 players and needed one more elimination to consolidate to one table. We never made it that far.
First, Todd Lundwall moved in with pocket sevens and was called by Ray Spencer with . Spencer flopped an ace and Lundwall didn't catch a seven the rest of the way. He was eliminated in 11th place.
That hand wasn't even over yet when Duane Felix raised to 100K and Thomas Middelthon moved all in for his last 280,000. The players at that table didn't know that Lundwall had already been eliminated and suddenly a huge crowd gathered around as Felix decided whether to call. He eventually did and turned over , which trailed Middelthon's pocket queens.
There was a crowd three-deep around the table as the flop came . A number of people called out, "Ace! Ace!"...and suddenly there was an explosion of cheers as the dealer laid the on the felt. We were one card away from setting our final table and that card, the , fell on the river. Middelthon was eliminated in 10th place, and we now have our final table set for tomorrow.

If you hear a lot of shouting in Portuguese coming from the rail you can be sure Leandro Pimentel is involved in a big hand. This time he raised 105K before the flop and was called by Ray Spencer. The flop came and both players checked. The turned and Spencer called Pimentel's 205,000 bet. When the hit on the river Pimentel moved all in and Spencer called. Pimentel showed A-J and Spencer showed the before mucking his hand -- and touching off a wild celebration from the rail. Pimentel now has 700,000 and Spencer 1.1 million.
Phan moved in for his last 200K and Cort Kibler-Melby reraised to 400,000 to isolate. "You got it," Phan said as he turned over pocket deuces, and Kibler-Melby flipped over pocket nines. The board didn't help Phan's hand and he was eliminated in 12th place.
Leandro Pimentel's supporters found their voice again when he moved all in with pocket jacks and was called by Ray Spencer with . The board ran out and when that last card was dealt there were loud, joyous cheers rising from the rail. Pimentel is now up to 420K.
After Douglas raised in the small blind for 80K Mahiout moved all in from the big blind for 340,000. Douglas made the call with against Mahiout's pocket fives. Douglas flopped an ace, it held up, and Mahiout was knocked out in 13th place. Douglas now has 2.5 million.
The say it ain't over till the fat lady sings, but what about when there's a group of Brazilians singing? It looked like Leandro"Brasa" Pimentel was about to eliminate Todd Lundwall with Pimentel's pocket sixes leading Lundwall's on a board. Pimentel's supporters began singing in celebration...and the hit on the river.
And the singing stopped. Instantly.
Pimentel's stack was chopped down to 180,000, while Lundwall is now up to 580K.
After Hunt raised to 100K Ray moved in for his last 255,000. Hunt called with , dominating Ray's . Ray flopped a jack...but Hunt flopped a king and Ray didn't get any help the rest of the way. He was knocked out in 15th place.
For (at least) the third time today, a player moved in on Greg Mueller while he held pocket kings. This time it was Duy Le, who held A-9 against Mueller's cowboys and couldn't catch an ace. Le was eliminated in 16th place.
