    After a whirlwind final table that lasted all of 75 minutes, it was Harry Ligos who came through with the goods in the end to capture the trophy.

    Harry was prominent throughout the tournament and destroyed the final table with some premium cards to eliminate seven of his nine opponents.

    In the biggest win of the Albanian-born Australian's career he takes home $17,732 and the coveted PokerNews title! Congratulations Harry!

    Michael Bancroft - 2nd Place

    Michael Bancroft Eliminated in 2nd Place ($12,238); Harry Ligos Wins!

    Michael Bancroft moved all in from the button for about 180,000 but Harry Ligos insta-called.

    Bancroft: {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
    Ligos: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

    Oops! An amazing time to pick up a big pocket pair for Ligos as Bancroft was going to need something miraculous to escape. It wasn't to be as the board fell {2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{J-Spades}{K-Spades}{K-Clubs} to give Harry Ligos the title!

    Michael Bancroft ends his excellent run in 2nd place for a satisfying collect of $12,238 in prize money.

    Bancroft Hanging Around

    Michael Bancroft limped in from the button and Harry Ligos checked his option in the big blind.

    The flop came {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and Ligos led out for 25,000. Bancroft quickly moved all in for 135,000 in total sending Ligos into the tank. He eventually laid it down and Bancroft chips up to around 220,000.

    Harry Ligos raised to 65,000 from the button and Danny Tang moved all in for 203,000 from the big blind. Ligos tanked before making the call.

    Tang: {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
    Ligos: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

    The board fell {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} to give Ligos top pair and the pot. Tang is sent to the rail in 3rd place for $8,440. We're now heads up!

    Andrew Jeffreys - 4th Place
    Andrew Jeffreys - 4th Place

    Andrew Jeffreys Eliminated in 4th Place ($6,752)

    In a battle of the blinds Andrew Jeffreys popped it up to 50,000 from the small blind and Harry Ligos made the call in the big blind.

    The flop came {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Jeffreys moved all in with Ligos making the call.

    Both players showed top pair but Jeffreys' {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} out-kicked the {10-Spades}{5-Spades}. That is, until the {5-Hearts} peeled off on the turn to give Ligos two pair. The river was the {2-Clubs} and Jeffreys is unfortunate to be eliminated in 4th place. He'll take home $6,752 for his efforts.

    Little: {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}
    Ligos: {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}

    The board ran out {6-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Ligos makes jacks and tens to send Little to the rail in 5th place for $5,275 in prize money.
