    Steve Sung Doubles

    Steve Sung pushed from the button for 6,250 and the player in the small blind made the call.

    Sung: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
    Small blind: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

    It looked like Sung was heading to the rail when the board landed {2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} but a saving {Q-Spades} on the river gave Sung the bigger pair as he doubles to about 13,000 chips.

    Chau Giang Picks Off a Bluff

    An early position player raised to 950 and Chau Giang called from the button. The flop was {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}. The EP player checked, Giang bet 4,000, and the EP player moved all in for 16,650, sending Giang into the tank for a good five minutes before making the call.

    The EP player sheepishly turned over {Q-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} while Giang showed {7-Spades} {7-Hearts}.

    "One more time I'm right! I'm going to win this tournament!" exclaimed Giang as the dealer burned and turned the {5-Clubs}, making Giang a nine-high straight. The river was the {10-Hearts} and Giang raked in the pot.

    "Oh man this is good for the final table here!" said Giang as he stacked up his new pile of chips, totaling 70,000.

    It Works to Slow Play Them Sometimes...Just

    Jonah Rogers made a raise from under the gun to 1,4000. It was folded around until the player in the small blind reraised to 2,500. Jonah made the call before the flop came {7-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {J-Clubs}.

    Both players checked so the turn was dealt as {5-Clubs} Rogers then bet 3,000 before seeing it raised to 6,000. Rogers then moved all in and his opponent called.

    Rogers tabled {4-Hearts} {6-Hearts} to his opponent's {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}.

    The river came {10-Clubs} to miss all of Roger's draws and double his opponent up. Roger's still very healthy on 50,500.

    Brandon Adams
    Brandon Adams

    Based on a True Story

    A player under the gun raised to 900, and it folded back around to Brandon Adams, author of the poker-themed novel Broke, in the big blind. Adams called.

    The flop came {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Adams bet 1,200, his opponent raised to 3,200, and Adams called. The turn was the {9-Clubs}. Adams bet 4,500, and this time his opponent just called.

    The river brought the {2-Spades}. Adams bet 11,000, and got the call. Adams turned over {A-Spades}{7-Spades} -- he'd been betting his draws, and the flush had come on the end. His opponent mucked.

    Adams is up to 75,000.

    Moto-Rolled
    Moto-Rolled

    Quad Aces are Good, Right? ... RIGHT?

    Motoyuki "Moto" Mabuchi raises to 850 in middle position and the button calls.

    The flop is {A-?}{Q-Diamonds}{9-?} and both check. The turn is {10-Diamonds} and Moto bets 1,600. The button calls. The river is {A-Diamonds} and Moto bets 2,500. The button raises to 8,500 and Moto reraises all in.

    The button calls. Moto shows {A-?}{A-?} for quad aces, but the button has {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for the royal flush. Moto is eliminated in stunning fashion.

    Bergener Cracked

    Stefanie Bergener was looking in good shape to double up, after getting all of her chips in the middle on a flop of {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, holding {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} against her opponent's {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}.

    However a brutal {K-Hearts} landed on the turn to give her opponent the two-outer. The {4-Spades} fell on the river to send a disappointed Bergener to the exit.
