Steely/Hall will go out 3rd and 4th. i actually think baldwin will win it all. he's riding a ton of momentum and confidence this year having won about 1 million total so far this year.

Agreed, Nick. I'm on the fence with chopping. I think circumstances of the situation tend to sway me one way or the other. In this case, with the weather, the delays, and other things that I certainly don't know about since I'm not there, I think a chop would have been a good thing.

maybe he was planning to chop. maybe he went to his hotel room and did some quick research on Hall and Steely to see if they've ever had big scores before, maybe after 40 minutes of talk he decided that he had a massive edge over someone on the table.

And as I said, I commend players who refuse to chop. But my problem is, after you've complained, and after everyone has thrown extra money into you, making everyone wait for an hour making concessions to you only to reveal you were never planning to split in the first place. That's just crappy.

i don't nescesserily think he deserves to lose his stack because he didn't wanna make a deal. he prolly feels like he's got a huge edge over steely and hall because they seem like they've never played for any big money and are very anxious to chop... aka scared money in baldwins mind.

Are you serious? Baldwin kept everybody waiting for an hour to say he's never made a deal in his life? I appreciate the sentiment, and to this day I respect Sammy Farha for not agreeing to split with Moneymaker in '03 when Moneymaker had him very outchipped, but say so at the beginning Baldwin!
