Vladmir Geshkenbein Wins The PKR Heads Up Grand Slam Event! ($120,000)

Vladmir Geshkenbein battled his way past Alex Keating, Brahim Hajji, David Steicke, James Sudworth to make it to the final of the first ever PKR Heads Up Grand Slam event.

Facing the always difficult to play against Juha Helppi, the Russian's aggressive attacking play and winning of several crucial large pots allowed him to whittle his opponent down to a short stack, finishing him off at the first time of asking.

Geshkenbein came into the tournament as one of the less well-known players but now goes home with the title as the champion. Congratulations to him and to all of those who cashed in the event!
