Day 3 began with 149 players remaining from the overall number of 872. Out of those returning today, only 128 of them would make the money. Coming into the day, Andrew "LuckyChewy" Lichtenberger had the chip lead with Andy "BKiCe" Seth right on his heels.

Seth did well enough to grind his way down to 26th place, where he ended up going out. Lichtenberger stayed towards the top of the leaderboard for most of the day, but relinquished command of the top spot after losing a 3.4-million chip pot to Sam Stein. Topping the field at the end of the day is Eric Blair, who bagged up 3.7 million.

A few of the members of Team PokerStars Pro made their way into the money. Bill Chen, Tom McEvoy and Greg Raymer all took home some cash, but it was fellow team member Vanessa Rousso who went the deepest. She busted in 25th place after a very solid run.

Play ended with 24 players remaining and 51 minutes left on the clock in Level 22. The final three tables will return tomorrow and grind it out to there's only eight remaining for the final table. Vanessa Rousso opened all in from the button for roughly 200,000. Big blind Tom Marchese asked for a count before calling with {7-Diamonds}

. Rousso turned up {K-Spades}

, in serious need of help. The board was a complete swing and miss, {10-Spades}

. That left Rousso without any chips, eliminated in 25th place. It also took us to the end of Day 3.

Eric Blair and Andy "BKiCe" Seth got into a preflop raising war, and Seth moved all in for another 540,000. Blair called, and it was a standard race.

flop wasn't good for Seth, and he never caught up with the {9-Hearts}

on the turn and {6-Clubs}

on the river.

BKiCe shook Blair's hand and left to collect his $18,080 for 26th place.

Buffington Busts

Action folded to Jonathan Aguiar and he raised to 100,000 before Blake Buffington moved all in from the next spot. Everyone folded and then Aguiar made the call.

Aguiar held {K-Spades}

and Buffington held {Q-Hearts}

The flop smacked Aguiar when it came down {K-Diamonds}

. The turn was the {J-Spades}

and the river the {6-Hearts}

and that was it for Buffington as Aguiar had him covered and moved up to 560,000.

Chen Doubles through Billirakis

Steve Billirakis is doing his part, trying to eliminate the short stacks. He got in there against Andrew Chen for 220,000. Chen tabled {Q-Clubs}
