Today began with 56 players returning for Day 3 of Event #13 $1,000 No Limit Hold'em. Eliminations came fast and furious as player after player was eliminated on our march to the final table. Among the casualties were well known pros Ylon Schwartz, Burt Boutin, and Andy Black.
The final nine players are an ecclectic mix of players including amateurs, some of which have had past success at the WSOP, a pro hailing from Dublin Ireland, and an online superstar in Jared "TheWacoKidd" Hamby. The final nine players are:

David Baker opened to 66,000 and Daniel Duong moved all in for roughly 250,000. Baker made the call and we were off to a showdown.

landed on the turn, it looked as though Duong would survive.
Unfortunately for Duong the 
would spike on the river to send him to the rail in 10th place for a $27,323 payday.

Since the formation of this unofficial final table, play has been extremely slow.
Although the pay jump between ten and nine is only $7,967, it is more likely that the $472,479 first prize, coveted gold bracelet and title of Event #13 Champion is weighing more heavily on the minds of the remaining ten.
With players falling at an incredibly fast rate today, this final elimination may take some time!

Thomas took the lead on the

landed on the turn and river, Thomas climbed to 700,000 as Domagalski slips to just 60,000 in chips.
The following hand Domagalski moved all in dark and Mats Gavatin made the call from the big blind.

Unfortunately for Domagalski, the board would run out 
to see him outdrawn again, and sent to the rail in 11th place for a $27,323 payday.

Action folded to Clint Schafer in the small blind and he moved all in for 155,000. David Baker counted out the chips and made the call.

Schafer was looking good with a set when the flop came 
. All he had to do was avoid a ten to double up and stay alive. He managed to do so when the 
came on the turn.
The table let out a collective gasp when the hit the river. Schafer was clearly devastated by the card. He was eliminated in 12th place for $27,323. Meanwhile, Baker adds another 155,000 to his already massive stack.

Jasper Wetemans moved all in from middle position for 380,000 and Christopher Brammer made the call for his 135,000 before Steven Gee called from the button having both players covered.

flop changed little as both Brammer and Wetemans would need some help to stay alive.

on the turn, followed by the on the river would see Wetemans and Brammer eliminated in 13th and 14th place respectively for a $21,382 payday as Gee soars over the 1,100,000 in chips.

Kyung Han opened to 58,000 only to have Christopher Brammer move all in for over 430,000. Han double-fist-pump-snap called for his last 304,000 and we were off to a showdown.
