The World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at the Bicycle Casino has wrapped up and Freddy Deeb is the winner of a WSOPC ring, an invite to the National Championship and $171,810. Every other player at the final table had put in three grueling days of play but Deeb skipped Day 1 and entered Day 2 with only 20 big blinds.

Deeb soared to the top of the counts before the first break on Day 2. He quickly ran his stack up to six-figures and didn't experience any major trouble until late in the day. When they bagged up Deeb had one of the smaller stacks.

But it didn't Deeb long on Day 3 to make an impact. On only the second hand of play Deeb moved all in after Chris Summers moved all in. Then Cy Williams moved all in behind them with a smaller stack. Deeb held pocket jacks, Williams had pocket nines and Summers had {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}. Deeb flopped a set and made a full house by the river, eliminating Williams and pushing his own stack to up over 1,000,000.

When the field reached an official final table Deeb was the chipleader with 2.35 million. The final table played for over ten hours and saw wild fluctuations. Deeb spent some time as the shortest stack, dipping down to 300,000 at one point, but then battled back to the top.

Deeb had control of the table, even when he was low. He scored six of the eight knockouts. But he had his work cut our for him in an epic heads up battle against Alex Masek. Every time Masek looked in danger of being eliminated he would double back up.

The match finally ended when they got all the chips in the middle preflop. Deeb held {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} and Masek had {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}. The board ran {10-Hearts} {8-Spades} {3-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} and Deeb claimed his first WSOPC cash.

That wraps up all the action here at the Bike, up next the WSOPC Choctaw. Be sure to follow all the action live on Pokernews.com

Alex Masek Eliminated in 2nd Place ($106,185)

Alex Masek
Alex Masek

Freddy Deeb raised it to 300,000, and Alex Masek raised it to 860,000. Deeb took little time in announcing all in, and Masek took even less time to call! The hands were flipped, and we had a classic race on our hands.

Deeb: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Masek: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The flop was a brick for Masek, coming {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}. The turn brought the {3-Hearts}, giving Masek flush draw outs in addition to the ace and the king. The river was a red card, but it was the {4-Diamonds}. Masek fought hard in heads up play, but ends one spot short of the win. He will take home over $100,000 for his showing.

Masek: {Q-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}

The board finished {3-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} and Masek doubled up.

Another Quick Break

After another level the two remaining players are taking a quick break.

Masek Takes A Bit Back

Freddy Deeb raised to 200,000 preflop, and Alex Masek made the call. The dealer fanned out a flop of {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}, and both players checked. The {3-Spades} hit the turn, and Masek bet out 200,000. Deeb thought for just a few moments before raising it up to 700,000. Masek then went deep into the tank, counting out his chips slowly. Masek then put his hood over his head, and buried his head into his hands. After almost three minutes of thinking, Masek announced all in! It was for about 1.5 million more! Deeb thought for 20 seconds before letting his hand go. Deeb still has comfortable chip lead, but Masek made up some good ground in that hand.

Deeb Grinding Masek Down

Freddy Deeb's mountain of chips keeps growing and Alex Masek's keeps dwindling little by little.

Deeb Cruising So Far

Freddy Deeb started heads up play with a nice sized chip lead, and through the first handful of heads up hands, that lead has only increased. Deeb is applying a ton of pressure, and Alex Masek doesn't seem to have the cards to fight back. Deeb has added one million to his stack, and looks in great shape to take down this title.

Freddy Deeb 8,600,000 1,000,000 pos
Alex Masek 2,405,000 -1,000,000 neg
