Savage Crippled, Eliminated

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Matt Savage limped in from early position, Hoai Pham made it 1,200 on the button and both the big blind and Savage called. The flop rolled out {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and was met with a shove for 4,450 from the big blind. Savage quickly called while Pham folded and the players turned up their cards:

Savage: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The {8-Hearts} and {5-Diamonds} turn and river were of no help for Savage who was crippled down to 1,500 after the hand.

Shortly after, Savage got his stack in preflop with {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and was called by Pham who had {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The flop was a dream for Pham, coming {K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}, leaving Savage drawing thin. The turn came the {5-Spades}, the river was the {7-Spades}, and Savage was eliminated. Pham sits at around 30,000.
