Christian Harder - 18th Place
Christian Harder - 18th Place

Christian Harder opened for 16,000 from the cutoff seat and got a single caller in William Black playing out of the small blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Black led with a bet of 35,000. Harder responded with a raise to 145,000, and after pausing just a few beats Black called the raise.

The turn brought the {10-Hearts} to pair the board, and Black quickly pushed his remaining 120,000 or so in the middle. It was more than what Harder had left and he called. The pair tabled their cards to reveal Harder held {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a Broadway wrap and a flush draw, but he was in tough shape as Black held {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades} for a full house.

Harder actually had a couple of shots at a straight flush to survive, but the river was the {7-Hearts} and he exited in 18th.
