After opening to 245,000 from under the gun, Farid Jattin watched Robert Merulla three-bet jam for 1.27 million more.

Jattin asked for a count but before he could find out the accurate information, he suddenly announced a call and tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

Merulla could only muster the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and he would need to find some paint to catch up. The dealer burned a card and flashed the flop, with the {q-Hearts} appearing right in the window.

Merulla's expression never so much as flinched, and when the full flop was revealed to be {q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs} he found himself fading five outs on the televised final table bubble.

The turn ({9-Clubs}) and river ({7-Spades}) offered no help to Jattin, and with that Merulla secured the most important double up of his poker career.

Jared Jaffee asked Merulla if he liked the door card much, and his poker face finally cracked just a bit.

"I mean, it was still a sweat..." he said, his grin spreading wider as he told the tale. "But yes, I liked that door card."
