Boxell Spikes an Ace on the River to Steal a Pot from Clements

We walked in on the hand with the board showing and Leo Boxell was considering to call a 10,000 bet made by Scott Clements from the button. A solid minute passed before Boxell eventually made the call, as did Jens Voertmann from the cutoff.

The river brought the and Boxell, first to act, immediately fired a 10,000 bet. Voertmann folded promptly, leaving Clements to make a decision. Scott stood up out of his seat and sat right back down, clearly agitated with the bet. He eventually picked up two 5,000 chips off the top of his stack and tossed them into the middle making the call.

Boxell tabled for a rivered two pair and Scott could only sit still in his chair at the site of his luck.

Scott was left with approximately 23,000 after the hand.
