"Kill John?""Kill John?"
John Juanda has recently taken a couple of hits in pre-flop action. After he three-bet pre-flop, David Singer made a large four-bet and Juanda had to fold his hand.
A few hands later Dag Martin Mikkelsen made a similar play. John Juanda three-bet pre-flop to 2,500 and Mikkelsen simply shoved enough to put Juanda to a decision for all of his chips. This strategy of shoving pre-flop against professionals is discussed in Lee Nelson's much hyped book "Kill Phil" (and also his new book "Kill Everyone"). Perhaps on this table "Kill John" would be more appropriate as Juanda was forced to fold once again. -
