Despite the smaller field, 2006 champion Fred Bart has returned to try and win what would be his second Manila title. Bart also finished runner-up to Mark Ericksen in last year's championship.
The field also comprises of a number of players who have already gone deep in other events during this year's Aussie Millions Championship including Graeme Putt, Warwick Mirzikinian, and local Australian pro Karib Karib.
