In a dramatic climax to today's play, Surinder Sunar has knocked out one player and crippled another in a 400,000 pot.

Liam Flood opened for 8,400 in middle position and was called by Sunar on the button. Erik Friberg called in the big blind.

Friberg checked, and Liam Flood moved all in for roughly 40,000. Surinder Sunar called and Erik Friberg moved all in for 150,000. Sunar immediately called.

Paul Campell Eliminated

Paul Campell quickly called a large all-in push for 33,00 from Daniel Mangas with {Q-Diamonds}

and was up against {10-Spades}

Two tens came on the flop and the Irishman was left crippled with only 7,000, and was soon eliminated. What a cruel way to be sent home to bed with no dinner.

Haugen Finds a Monster

Fredrik Haugen finds the perfect time to pick up a monster. He raises from mid position to find himself reraised by Surinder Sunar. Haugen moves all in for approximately 65,000 in total, and Sunar eventually calls.

and Haugen flips {A-Spades}

Flop comes {5-Clubs}

and Haugen keeps the lead.

Turn comes {A-Diamonds}

and Haugen wins the hand, which made the {A-Clubs}

on the river a little bit of overkill.

New Chip Leader

It's difficult to get a visual count of the stacks at the moment as players are using very similar red (500) brown (5,000) and pink (10,000) chips and it's difficult to distinguish between them.

We believe the current chip leader is Surinder Sunar with over 300,000. Pascal Perrault has dropped back below 200,000 and is sitting on Sunar's right so this is possibly where the Englishman's stack has been fed from.

Eliminations Before the Break

Players are on a half-hour break, but the two hands before saw a rash of eliminations. First, Erik Friberg scooped a monster pot when he flat-called an all-in push from a small stack in early position. Tony Phillips on the big blind then reraised all in for his remaining 65,000 and Friberg called.

Small stack: {K-Hearts}

Erik Friberg: {A-Spades}

Tony Phillips: {Q-Hearts}

The aces held and Friberg scooped a big pot.

Then Irish Open champion Marty Smyth was knocked out. UTG player minimum-raised, and Smyth and another player called.

On a flop of {9-Spades}

, and with 20,000 already in the pot, the initial raiser led out with 16,000, and the mid-position caller moved all in with {J-Hearts}

. Smyth reluctantly made a value call with {A-Hearts}

for his last 12,000 or so, and the preflop raiser folded. No help for Smyth and his runs at this year's London EPT comes to an end.

Stig Blows His Top (and His Stack)

Anthony Lellouche raises from early position, Stig Rasmussen reraises from middle position to 13,500. Lellouche goes into the tank for two minutes then moves all in. Rasmussen announces, "This is bad, but I call," before pushing his remaining 40,000 into the middle.

No help for Rasmussen and Lellouche has him well covered. Rasmussen is not happy about Lellouche's play. He walks away, shaking his head as he says, "You take a very big chance -- that was very stupid move."
