Yeah, it was risky. I think after Cada's J-9 call, he got impatient and wanted a quick double-up. Cada has plaid quite a few mid and low pairs, so Moon might have seen the situation for what it was and accepted a coin-flip as ok.

Very weird call from Moon on that last hand. Almost like he was ready to get out of there. He had close to 70 million chips at the start of that hand, I think I'd have waited for a better spot to get 70 million chips in. At best you're a coinflip. Why gamble when you can chip away? Congrats to Cada.

Excellent coverage. My only note would be to investigate using a service like Qik to provide real-time updates/video/audio. A surprisingly competitive heads-up match. I was impressed with both players. The action was much better than the final table play that preceded this heads-up match.

Ivey is the best player, and yet he doesn't win, just goes to show that tournament poker means squat

Instead, Cada is seen as making a brilliant call. That took ice water in the veins.

Here's why it's easy to sit on the rail and criticize but incredibly difficult to actually to play under so much pressure and second guessing. When Darvin put Cada all in on a board of 10-5-9-10 and Cada correctly called with J-9, if Darvin had had a 10 everyone would be saying Cada is an idiot.

wouldnt call it brilliant but entertaining and dramatic aside from that big call from cada

Glad it didn't end with a bad suck out. If that had happened that would have been the overwhelming memory of this final table. After a lot of missteps got rewarded 9 to 2, head's up made for some really clever and aggressive poker

Yeah, from logger to 5.1 million +. A great life experience.

As much as its got to haunt someone to come in second, Moon seems like he'll like Steve Danneman in that he'll still sleep well about the final results and content to have had such a great run.

Obviously, we didn't see this. But I loved this heads-up. I would buy the DVD of the entire thing. I think it rescued this year's final. Brilliant, aggressive play.

Congrats to both. WP heads-up. Wow Eastgate held record for only one year.

Next time someone says how it is all luck (which there was plenty of Saturday), think about the balls of steel it took for Cada to make a huge call a few hands earlier

Yes, congrats both. Poker will get even hotter amongst the really young guys out there. Sick life to win that at 21.

I actually like the QJ call -- figuring Cada has a low-mid pair and you have two overs. Beautiful final hand. LOVED IT.
