It was planned all along after the first two weeks on prime time Saturday that Face the Ace would air Saturday afternoons. This was noted in the PokerNews article back in April:

I don't believe the plan was ever to air all the episodes Saturday night, but just to try and fill some holes on a night where little is on. However, when you finish 4th in the time slot twice, and average about 1.5m viewers, you're doomed. Off to the wasteland that is Saturday afternoons monthly on NBC.
