Gus hansen aint no 10-1 underdog when it comes to poker, theres a reason why hes tied 1st place in all time WPT titles with carlos, and another reason why he just won a braclet in europe at the 10k highroolers heads up tornemount. Your knowlage on Hansens achivement is obviously next to nothing. and who gives a damn who much hes lost on line. to be honest, in poker you play the 'man' not the didgital image.

GO HOME... if you are reading this dont frown upon my comment as if you watch a short documentary called '£50 says you'll watch this' you will understand were im coming from. he stated, whilst sitting at a table with the documentary man and chris money maker and the guy who wears those snake eye glasses that 'You look at all the internet stars today and you see them all entering the big tornemounts and you jus think GET OUTA HERE KID!.

have to admit, I would have folded duces on a straight board. putting that aside Dwan is side by side with isldur1 in my opinion of best high stakes player in the world, step aside Ivey- go play some stud or razz cos DWAN IS IN TOWN! dwans a ledgend and i really hope he wins his bracelet bets along with a few other titles. so true man, gus totally deserved the bracelet, im not saying that the other guy didnt because in poker everyone has a shot at a bracelet, im just saying that this particular bracelet totally topps off his 3 wpt titles and multiple wsop cashes, :-] totally well dont gus! hope u can win some more.

TO JBAG007---damn right man, u are so true. its like if jordan got to the NBA finals with the chicargo bulls and said, oh guys i got to take a trip to mexico 'just because' and he'd think that they'd hold the finals up by a week or something. Ivey needs to be put in place cos all he is, a player like u or me.

I agree. Ivey is an ledgendary player and as of now and possibly a few more years he will continue to be the best and perform to an exeptional standard, however there is a flaw in Ivey that other playes have failed to adjust.
Everyone looks at Ivey as everyone looked at Jordon. A figure head of their category of expertieese, but once you look past the greatness and see them as avarage players, trying to hit those 'once in an lifetime' titles. you find that its fairly easy to play against them. its so fustrating from my point (a teenage poker enthusiast) to see grown men tremble at the man who everyone says, can win it all. when one person starts to beat Ivey, out shows his wins by ten times and in ten times less of the time that hes done it, then we'll see Ivey's title wins decrease, and more and more amatures step up and claim the big titles.
the way i see it is Ivey's just another 10k main event hopefull, he'll be whisked into reality real soon.
now i know hes 'too big' to even know that this post is about him, and im not trying to come across as someone who envys him as i really respect the way he plays 'an all.
let me give you one of the most understandable examples of all time.
johnny chan in the 2003 wsop, that guy had won the main event twice in a row and made the heads up 10k main event position 3 times. everyone saw an 'Ivey' in him. BUT what happened? Chris Moneymaker knocked him out of it. along with Ivey. (and ,pardon me, a big name i fail to remember) he beat the big shots and entered the zone that only the very well known pro's now live in, the zone were everyone's an amature and we play because we know how to play. the day when one man/woman shows everyone that zone then well see how hard it is to play against -the tiger woods of poker-

Ivey pleese win it! I know my comments on other posts have been slightly negative but in some areas positive about u but i really wanted u to win ur 9th bracelet in london at the main event and at the NLH_HU but because u didnt win either i guess i owe u this,
.....(sighs) Ivey to win--------jokes, narr i really do want him to win, he deserves a little more than 1 bracelet and 1 wpt final table and 1 BEC award this year. go for the title Ivey!

fair play, i got to admit, the ozzys deserve it this year and it doesnt look like they can rely on their crown jewl 'joey hachem' anymore, no chance of him winning it in the next 5 years.

probably not becaue of time difference and some stuff like that. nice to see that theres at least 1 recognizable player left, dan shack! forget obrestad, i would bust her from any torney any day. defo didnt like the way she kept on smiling when she mon small pots on poker after dark/late night poker (one of the last two seasons).
