OMG. I heard this devastating news last night at the Bellagio from a few local professionals who knew Amir and came up to me to tell me the news knowing we were close friends for almost 15 years. I was so shocked that I kept saying,,,"You must be kidding, is this a bad joke?" I picked up my phone and called his cell phone number....no response. Mike Dinino said..."You aren't going to get an answer from a dead person" I went home numb, sad, and in shock, in disbelief until I saw the news on the internet, confirming this disturbing news. Just wanted to give my condolences to all of his family and other close friends who are mourning the death and the terrible loss of such a warm, kind-hearted, talented, smart, wonderful person who I was honored and fortunate enough to have been able to know and befriend for 15 years since I have been playing poker....He will be deeply missed, by me especially....God rest his soul....
