Wow, I was about to speak my piece for Linda Johnson, and then I read all the comments. It looks like a landslide already in her favor! I'd still like to contribute that the weekly poker meetings that Linda helps run/organize/teach are phenomenal.
She is giving her time freely to help make new players to the game comfortable, eager and more educated with her expertise. I just started attending this group a month or so ago and it is now a highly anticipated part of my week. She makes every person, even brand new players, feel like they have something valuable to contribute.
I can't say the same about the rest of these nominees because I do not have any personal experiences with them, and though they are obviously all great players in their own right (no disrespect whatsover toward them), I don't know anyone else who spends their time giving to charity and other players the way Linda Johnson does. She belongs in that Hall of Fame without a doubt!!
