In need for better cash game (4)

I love playing tournament poker but as time to play is somewhat limited I guess Im in need of a better cash game. I don't enjoy it as much as tournament poker but guess that once you get a hang of it and beating players it should be much nicer. So far my cash game kinda sucks when comparing it to tournament poker.

Im guessing it is time to share some hands. Im playing 0.10/0.25 which my BR allows but so far I am still losing money. I play alright but guess that I have some major leaks of which loosing to many big pots is 1. I ve been marking hands in HM for a while and just to get it started and get some experience on posting I post some big losing hands for commentsSmile

Not too strong a line taken when looking back. But, my thought after 2 checks on flop I bet on turn coz can I have many hands and maybe I can take it down just there. The 2 on river can of coure be scary card coz it completes draw but I can also represent having straight?

Okay these are just some I found. Need to get it going in some way. Will start posting more recent hands once I get a hang of it. Looking forward to criticasters/good players advice

Can I actually fold there to his raise? I fold because I only play for trip value when I call thinking that most flops will contain at least one overcard. Trip value is wasted imo because other guy is not deep enough?

These situations come all the time, especially when you open middle pairs and get reraised. Of course the position of the reraiser matters plus his stats but should I consider other factors?

Small Continuation Betting in Three-Bet Pots with Carter King (1)

Good point. I've been playing quite some poker with a friend these weeks. He was also betting smaller. My bets were very much 3/4 of the pot on flop and 1/2 of the pot on the turn. It makes flop play more important and he would also bet small when hitting hard. This is sometimes seen as weakness, resulting in a reraise. In this way more value is often added. I am also trying to change my bets somewhat but find it difficult sometimes because you give people the odds to call and play you on the turn making decisions tougher
