House Financial Services Committee Votes to Approve Barney Frank's Internet Gambling Legislation (3)

I'd rather it not be regulated in the U.S. It would be nice to have Neteller back though.

The problem with US government regulation is it comes with to high a price. Their piece of the action will make the games unbeatable because of the increase in rake that will be charged. If the game is unbeatable then why would I want to keep playing? I'm not into the recreational aspect of online poker.

I don't think it's fair for any bill to exclude Poker Stars and Full Tilt just because they didn't cave in and stop serving US customers. That's idiotic. The whole UIGEA is a crock of shipt concocted by politicians who were in the pockets of American gaming companies. Come on down Bill Frist and admit why you did what you did in your last minute of power! We already know. Most don't though.

I say it would be best if governments stayed out of internet poker. Let it be a world game played between opponents throughout the world. I don't want to be like the French, the Italians, and the other regulated countries who only allow people of their country to play others of their country. That's insane. Let people from all over the world play each other. Keep politics and high taxes out of this game please.

US regulation will be the end of online poker as we know it for Americans. It's better to support the present sites that allow us to play and keep it that way as it is. I don't want my bankroll siphoned off in so called government regulation taxes. They already said they expect to raise tens of billions every year because of this new tax on poker players. Where do you people think those tens of billions will come from? From our bankrolls, which will not last long.

Keep things unregulated. Please?
