PokerNews Book Review: Secrets of Professional Tournament Poker by Jonathan Little (3)

Also own the book. It's a really solid strategy guide and a pleasure to read. Most of all I think it has to be stated that any cash players looking to try their hand at tourneys will really appreciate the way Little has appropriated the book to players like us to better help us understand how to play shorter.

NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship: PokerNews Staff Predictions (6)

Best Celebrity Performance: Don Cheadle has the best record in this format out of the celebs but getting drawn against Dwan should end him pretty quick, I'll go for Jason Alexander.

Who Will Suffer the Worst Beat: While Phil Hellmuth will make his out to be the worst, Phil Ivey has been coolered in this competition almost consistently EVERY year (5 times in one match against Nguyen) and I can't see this changing.

Biggest Disappointment:: Peter Eastgate for his lack of personality and lack of care about the game.

Dream Televised Matchup: Sorel Mizzi vs. John Racener for obvious reasons.

Pick your final four: With the draw now available; Olivier Busquet, David Peat and Daniel Cates all seem like easy choices taking into account the Ivey,Antonius and Dwan cooler factor this competition seems to have. The final bracket is so hard to pick between Huck Seed, Erik Seidel, Phil Galfond and Tom Marchese, but I'll stick to my guns and go with the best NLHE (especially HU) player in the world taking this competition down again, Huck Seed.

2011 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Champion: Huck Seed.
