Male Borgata Player Wins Ladies Event But Loses Self-Respect (12)

My bad, I stand corrected. She offered the chop and he said yes as he didn't care about the cash he only wanted the trophy and then she said no as she wanted the title. Still amounts to the same thing. Does anyone know if he divided the money to charity as he claimed he would?

Let me get this straight. Whether the guy should be in the tournament or not, he is allowed to be as otherwise it is gender discrimination. What I see online in many reports is that Korotki offers to chop the cash, which she now says she "needed" but SHE refused?
It is unfortunate that she has cancer a dreadful disease that I lost more than one family member to, but why should the public be made to feel sorry for her if she refused to chop the cash because she wanted the title?
Seems to me they both paid the $300 to enter didn't they - if she needed cash for her recovery as she now claims, then why did she refuse to chop when offered?
