One advantage New Jersey will have over Nevada in regards to geo-location is that NJ has waaaay more cell phone towers than NV does. It's not uncommon to drive through the mountains & deserts of Nevada and not have cell reception for many miles.

Is it possible for the New Jersey Legislature to override Christie's veto? I know Congress can override a Presidential Veto, but I don't know how that works on a state-by-state basis. Since the vote of both houses was rather lopsided, then it might have a chance.
PokerStars trying to buy their way into the US market is just another reason that Chris Christie will veto the Online Poker Bill. Christie's conservative donors do not want some foreign company to get a foothold in the US when they were flaunting the law for all those years.
If Christie was in favor of the bill then why hasn't he signed it yet?
Gov Christie will probably VETO the Online Gambling Bill for the reasons you mention.
If he has national political ambitions, then he will need national money to run for office. Allowing online gambling will hurt his chances to raise campaign dollars, even if it's New Jersey. Big Republican & Conservative donors are against online gambling because gambling is a sin.
Remember, politics has nothing to do with reality or common sense.
I'm not sure I would use the word "better" when they jacked up the rake with the $365 tourneys.
This will be the final November Nine. If ESPN is slowly moving to "Near-Live" broadcasts, then there's no reason to wait until November. I would guess they might wait a week or two, and then play it out.
