The Nightly Turbo: Utah Writes to Congress, Lederer and Ferguson Face Lawsuit, and More (6)

concerning Utah, I hope they don't speak for the whole country- because if they live in the mountains and don't go anywhere it's not so for other places that will welcome a drop in traffic by players working from their home. And the skyrocketing price of gas is not helping any. The goverment has the chance to clear up the streets and they are sitting on it doing nothing.

Utah Gov Signs Anti-Online Gambling Bill; State Opts Out of Any Internet Poker Regulation (4)

I dont think the majority rule should apply here. Poker is an individuals game and some of the citizens that want to partake in it should be allowed to do so.The finer points of any argument are easily lost and the tyranny of demagogery is clearly evident to a freedom loving resident. The mega millions lottery is played in over 40 states, are we negligent of international relations that we don't allow world wide internet poker? After all, www. stands for world wide web

why not follow along with the rest of the world that allow internet poker... having individual states make their own laws is only complicating the process. poker tournaments are a form of lottery and the more players means bigger prizepool is why worldwide collaboration is more ideal.

Absolute Poker Issues Statement on Recent DOJ Action (8)

does anyone else think this issue reflects on yhe U.S. past involvement in slavery, by denying what 100's of thousands of its citizens are participating in with a law that is possibly unconstitutional? All it takes is one happy fool to jump in and abuse his power to let the country sink into a situation similar to slavery, a restriction of it's citizens right-present case, the right to play online poker.
