I have problems with this when people call or fold to my pre-flop raises.
If everyone folds I tend to assume they are afraid of me.
If I get played back at or called I tend to assume that they aren't giving my raises any credit.
In both cases I've recently noticed that without a good read on the opponent, it is more likely being determined by external forces (what hand the player picks up.)
