Venetian Announces Four 2009 'Deep Stack Extravaganza' Series

The Venetian in Las Vegas has announced four more installments in its popular Deep Stack Extravaganza series for 2009, assuring that the popular mid-Strip room continues to maintain its presence in mid-range poker events.

The DSE series began in 2007 with a February series that proved so popular it was reprised that summer during the heart of the WSOP poker season. The continued success meant that three more series were originally scheduled for 2008, and a fourth was later added due to popular demand. The DSE plans for 2009 already call for a full four series, with the dates for each as follows:

• February 2-25, 2009
• April 1-26, 2009
• June 1 – July 15, 2009
• November 1-25, 2009

The lineup of events for the 2009 DSE Series I has already been announced, while the detailed schedules for the later series are yet to be released. The 2009 DSE schedule of events:
