Borgata Spring Poker Open

The Borgata Spring Poker Open begins this weekend at the Borgata Hotel Casino in Atlantic City. Running from April 10 to April 30, there are 26 events on the schedule with buy-ins as low as $170 for a $100,000 guarantee no-limit hold'em event up to $7,200 for the $500,000 guaranteed East Coast Championship.

The Main Event is a has a guarantee of $1 million and is scheduled for April 25 with a $3,300 buy-in.Check out TheBorgata.com for more.

Poker Player Arrested for Murder

A Broward County man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his wife. The couple was well-known in South Florida poker circles and were regular players at a Pompano Beach casino. Their son owns a poker league that hosts games at bars throughout South Florida.

Robert Oulton was arrested Wednesday in the fatal beating of his wife Yvonne Oulton. Police say that to create an alibi, Mr. Oulton entered a poker tournament at Isle Casino & Racing Sunday night, the night Yvonne was killed. He then used his son to help him "look for his wife," and eventually led him to the body. After thorough investigation, surveillance videos connected Oulton to the homicide.

The latest stop on the PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour has descended upon the G Casino in Coventry. There is a £100,000 guaranteed prize pool for the event.
