Welcome back for another installment of This Week in Tournament Poker. This week we’ll be recapping four events that took place across the globe: the Ladbrokes.com Irish Poker Festival, the Spanish Poker Tour Valencia, the Heartland Poker Tour – Quapaw, and the Unibet Open Valencia.
The Ladbrokes.com Irish Poker Festival took place in Killarney, Ireland, at the Irish National Events Centre. The Main Event saw 633 players come out and generated a prize pool worth €316,500. The winner was Lars Torngren from England, who took home €75,000.

Next up we have one of two stops in Valencia, Spain for the Spanish Poker Tour. This €1,000 buy-in Main Event attracted 195 entries and created a prize pool worth €185,280. Koen Berndsen emerged the winner and took home €58,200 after defeating Rene Van Damme heads-up.

Taking things back to the United States, the Heartland Poker Tour concluded an event in Quapaw, Oklahoma, that saw Jason Fennell conquer a field of 330 players to walk away $100,017 richer.

Heading back to Spain, the Unibet Open Valencia concluded with Thomas Thang walking away the winner of the €1,500 Main Event. He earned €138,080 for his finish and conquered a final table that included Bulgarian Atanas Gueorguiev. Three hundred and sixty-one players came out for this event and generated a big prize pool of €541,500.
