The Sunday Briefing: Jason "NovaSky" Koon Earns Top Prize On Record-Breaking Sunday
Another huge Sunday is in the books as at least 20 players pocketed six-figure scores, mainly thanks to FTOPS XIX. The series has produced massive numbers and there is still a week to go. The biggest prize yesterday went to Jason "NovaSky" Koon for his second-place finish in Event #24. After a deal was secured, he locked up $458,550. The tournament was won by Alexander "AD_84" Debus for $341,268.60. In addition, Event #24 is now has the all-time largest prize pool in FTOPS history at $3,402,900. Full Tilt Red Pro Scott Clements also locked up a gold jersey, winning the $10,000 heads-up tournament for $290,500.
Over on PokerStars, the Sunday Million was won outright by "keyzerrr" for just greater than $250,000. Other Sunday winners include Eric "Ericb09" Blair, Joel "JD9712" Dodds, and Andrei "extasyman" One.
