The 2014 Borgata Spring Poker Open kicks off in three weeks, and we're proud to announce that PokerNews will be providing live coverage for each of the 17 main events on the schedule from April 8-26!

Taking place at the luxurious Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, the series will be highlighted by the $15,400 World Poker Tour Championship which is hitting the Jersey Shore for the first time ever. The WPT Championship features a $5 million guaranteed prize pool, and re-entries will be permitted on the second Day 1 flight if a player busts on Day 1a.

The Borgata Spring Poker Open begins on April 8 with a massive $560 event with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. The opening tournament will allow re-entries during the three starting flights. In January, the $560 opening event of the Borgata Winter Poker open attracted 4,812 runners before the tournament was canceled by staff due to the discovery of counterfeit chips.

Other high-profile events on the Spring Poker Open schedule include a $2,700 BSO Championship Event ($1 million guarantee); a $1,090 Six-Max No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry ($100,000 guaranteed); and a $300 Big Stack No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry ($100,000 guaranteed).

PokerNews will be activating the My Stack App during the series, allowing players to directly update their chip counts in the PokerNews blog using their iPhone or Android phone.

In addition to the 17 regular events on the schedule, there will be also more than a dozen qualifiers to the BSO Championship and WPT Championship. Players can win a seat into the WPT Championship for as little as $360 and have a chance to compete against the very best poker players in the world.
