Be Prepared for the NFL Season Kickoff with PokerNews' Sister Site FantasyWired

FantasyWired

Less than two weeks remain until the start of the NFL regular season, which means it's a very exciting time for PokerNews' sister site, FantasyWired. One of the leading online portals in the fantasy sports space, FantasyWired, which launched in 2013, was acquired by iBus Media back in March, meaning this marks the regime's first foray into the NFL season.

"With a strong team of writers and daily fantasy sports experts already in place at FantasyWired, we aim to build a go-to resource to help players gain an edge on the field, while offering videos, podcasts, and interviews with the best in the game," said iBus Media Sports Editor-in-Chief Brett Collson.

To celebrate the start of the NFL season, FantasyWired, in conjunction with two top Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) sites, are offering two kickoff contests — the DraftKings $10 Million Millionaire Maker and the FanDuel $5 Million Sunday Million.

DraftKings $10 Million Millionaire Maker

The Week 1 Millionaire Maker features a $10 million guaranteed prize pool, with $2 million going to the winner. What's more, it only costs $20 to enter!

As an incentive to enter the $10 Million Millionaire Maker contest on DraftKings and get players to participate in ESPN's season-long fantasy football leagues, ESPN and DraftKings will award an additional $1 million prize to the highest-scoring Millionaire Maker entrant who also has at least one team in an ESPN League Manager fantasy football league. Of that $1 million, $100,000 will go to the winner, while the other $900,000 will be split among his or her fellow ESPN League Manager fantasy football league members.

If you're already playing on DraftKings, there's absolutely no reason not to join an absolutely free ESPN League Manager fantasy football league and make yourself eligible for this additional prize. If you're already an ESPN League Manager fantasy player but you've never tried DFS, there's never been a better time to take the plunge, with a $2 million first-place prize for just $20!

FanDuel $5 Million Sunday Million

FanDuel's flagship NFL contest will feature a massive $5 million prize pool for Week 1 of the NFL season. For just a $25 entry, the winner of the contest will take home a $1-million first-place prize, while the runner-up and third-place finisher will win $350,000 and $150,000 respectively.

The contest uses FanDuel’s standard NFL parameters, meaning you'll have a $60,000 salary cap to draft nine players (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, and D).
