Throwback Thursday: Kristen Bicknell Focuses on Live Poker

Sarah Herring, Kristen Bicknell

It seems like nothing can stop the newest poker power couple. Kristen Bicknell won the Asia Pacific Poker Tour National High Roller event last Thursday, while Alex Foxen took down the APPT Super High Roller event two days later.

This week's Throwback Thursday features Bicknell. A sunburned Sarah Herring catches up with Bicknell at the 2016 Aussie Millions. Bicknell discusses her pivot from playing online cash to traveling the live poker circuit. The changes in online cash games motivated Bicknell to play live more. The switch has worked out for Bicknell who won a World Series of Poker bracelet, a WPT 5 Diamond event, and a PokerStars Championship event since the interview.

If you want to get your start at playing online cash games, like Bicknell, head over to Global Poker - the first social poker site that offers safe and secure cash out of winnings solely to players in the U.S. and Canada.
