Do you need it? No. Do you want it if you are going to play seriously? Probably, yes. The online game moves so fast these days, that broadband is becoming more a necessity than a luxury. If you are going to play one table of .50/$1.00 poker, you could play via dial up, and probably never have an issue, and have a great time. But, if you play for higher stakes, or want to play multiple tables at once, may we recommend broadband.
