1. How can I transfer money from Site A to Site B?

   Let's say you have $100 in Party Poker and you want to move that $100 to Poker Stars. There is no direct way to move money from one site to another. This is yet another reason why having an online "wallet," like Neteller, is vital. Use it as your home base and move money from it and to it from all the other sites. It's 100% safe and the most convenient option for all your online poker needs.

2. Can I enter the freerolls without making a deposit?

   There are some freerolls where you do not need to deposit. For example, in Everest Poker you can enter 2 freerolls a day with a prize pool of $500 without making a deposit.

   Prepaid ATM was more popular a few years ago but nowadays few sites accept it (SunPoker for example). It has been said in other places on this site, but the #1 option for funding your online accounts is either Neteller or Firepay. Both are 100% secure and easy to use.

8. Deposits are (usually) instantaneous - so why do withdrawals take a while?

   This is for your protection, in case someone makes an unauthorized withdrawal that has access to your computer, you have time to cancel it. Also, if you change your mind, you have that option as well.

9. What is the best way for me to deposit, and open an online poker account?

   This is a problem that is improving daily. Many people, Americans especially, have a lot of trouble using their traditional "Instruments of Banking" to fund online poker accounts. We have heard of one particular instance where one couple tried nine different cards, and were turned down on all nine.    * When you win thousands, and want to cash it out, cashouts are much easier when you fun through NETeller, or Firepay. Online Rooms work with these companies everyday, and as such don't have to do as much work to cashout via this means.
   * If an account you have at one room gets a lot of cash in it, and you want to open an account at another online room, or if you simply want to move money from one online room to another, this is much easier than with a credit or debit card.
   * When you use NETeller, or Firepay, you never gamble credit card money!

10. How can I win some real money without making a deposit?

    There is one online poker room where you can play for free in Limit Hold 'em tables. At Everest Poker you can play $0.10 Limit sit 'n' go's. After winning some cents you can participate in freerolls or bigger tournaments and start building your bankroll.

11. Are there fees associated with withdrawing money?

    Some sites have a nominal fee of $1 to process withdrawals, while most are free. Where you will be charged is if you want a physical check rather than a bank transfer. Checks need to be created and mailed and depending on the speed you want it to be delivered, you may pay $5 or $10.

    Most people with an online wallet simply move all their money back to a Neteller or a Firepay, then transfer it from there to their checkbook, which is free of charge, even if it takes a few days.
