There are a few ways you can learn to play poker.
1. Friends. They can give you the basics.
2. Books. You can get books for beginners through advanced players. Get some poker books for beginners and read them. Then try to play either with friends or online.
Also you can find the poker rules, strategy tips, and poker terms explanations online.
3. Online Poker Schools. Some poker rooms offer interactive poker schools with visual lessons on how to start playing poker. For example Pacific Poker, Paradise Poker and Everest Poker have their own interactive poker schools.
