Just letting everyone know that the source code for poker stars has been released by a person in the software industry. A group has also modfied the GUI. If you thought something at times wasn't right, you were probably correct.

Yea I thought something was wrong when I was beat 3 times in a row holding poket KK and then beat by 777. Then i was beat 5 times in a row AA and then flushes where the person was holding one card. I have seen about 500 of those in the last 2 months or if i'm doing good it moves me into a seat that has no winning hands and ends up outing me on blinds and that's 80% of the games. If you play a guaranteed game it seems the odds go way up because you get different hands then in the freerolls, see for yourself.

I was one of the nay sayers too a long time ago, poker sites are rigged, set up to reward donks.

But it took me a while to learn, when ever I lost money its my fault.

Yeh there are bad beats. (just last night my aces were cracked by 4 6 hearts with a river flush) but thats poker. I have seen full house beat full house, and quads beaten by better quads in a live game. (noone started ranting about a cold deck or antyhing either)

Since I buckled down and stopped tilting I have done nothing by go up, in the course of a long session those all in flush draw monkeys pay off, but the memory of the loss seems to be stronger than any wins.

Personally my own difference to my playing was, don't slow play (cash games) get money in the pots you stand a chance to win, and dont put any into marginal ones and run like forrest gump from preflop coin flip all ins.

all these people saying there is always a straight draw or flush draw on the board that tempts then to lose money are theones play 79 off suit, hence why you nearly always see a straight draw, of course you do. if a 10 or a 6 drops you are "on a straight draw" but a VERY long draw indeed.

anyway enough ranting, I just wanted to put in my 2 cents about this rigged poker sites, if it was rigged, I couldn't have stpped up my game to make consistent profit from always losing.
