I am totally disgusted with CDPoker. I entered the $100M qualifier tonight with 477 entrants playing for 5 seats.
After 2 and a half hours I was 6th with 26 players left with a healthy chip stack when the server goes down.
20 minutes I was unable to login though able to see my chips diminish. Eventually I got back in in second last place with only 2 times the BB left and on the BB and knocked out.
My internet connection was fine and able to access all other web sites - and also I was not the only player to suffer.
I have sent an email to support at CDPoker and await a reply. I think these things are outrageous and believe reputable sites like pokernews shoul act on behalf of players to get something done
It is a site recommended here and these things are a disgrace - no doubt they will cover themselves but I have been robbed of chance of the $100M qualifier because of their server problems

i am more than unhappy with them as well
theyre using the promise of a $30 no deposit bonus to get people to register accounts and give up their credit card numbers and then once you sign in they tell you that you didnt register through the right banner and try to offer you a match bonus instead of the one they promised
Like anyone is going to trust them when they dont honor their offer in the first place,

I agree with u both. CD Poker is the worst site i have ever played on. They were hosting a Las Vegas tourney qualifier and i won a seat. So i flew out to Vegas all excited about it and when i get to the tounament they didnt even look at invites or check any names or nothing, they were letting the whole free world in there. I was angry to say the least. Not only that but you could rebuy right off the bat and have 4000 more chips when we got 1000 to start with. I wrote them a couple times before i went to make sure i had all the details and at no time did they tell me any of this. After i got back i wrote them an angry email and they gave me $65 dollars for the "misunderstanding". I couldnt belive it.

I feel disgusted with CDPoker to, but for other reasons. It's a place full of no deposit bonusses that people receive, and i do not trust that. Every time i entered a table I got the feeling there were chipcollectors. You know, CDPoker employees collecting their no deposit bonusses back. Not one time, but every time i got there. So i finally stopped playing there.
I also should receive $20,- in a CDPoker account from a website called pokerinside, even after 3 months and emailing like 20 times i didn't receive it. I did everything by the book. Just got the feeling they were attracting as many players as possible. Maybe they think some of them will deposit there. Well, my advise is, stay far away from CDPoker, because it's a shithole full of rigs and cheats. And for the ones who become attacking guard dogs when someone talks about rigs, don't bother responding on it. The best and most honest pokergame is the one in your own home, and nowhere else.

to get the pokerinside $20 you need to download CDpoker from their site. I got the $20 within 2 days.

Yes, your right, some of my affiliates did get it. But i did everything they asked for. And i downloaded through their website. But everytime i emailed they made up some story to tell me i would get it next week, about 10 times, why I don't know. And when i finally come up with a way to attract dozens of players they remove the $8,- bonus. But that's just my problem, haha. Well, i didn't kill me, but it was nice way to make some extra money.

It's a disgrace when customer service is not delivered as promised,
I have had several poor expieriences with a number of poker rooms
and the type responses leave something to be desired.
It just leaves an empty hole when you are treated so poorly.
Hit 'em Hard PokerNews.

You don't want to go to every forum bashing CDpoker. Just tell your friends that play online, then they will tell their friends, then their friends will tell more friends.
That's the best advertising!

hmmmm is this just another one for the fraud list? I have had similar problems with three other of these larger poker sites. the bigger and richer they get as a result of YOUR money the more you mean squat to them. I play at a small site now oceanbreezepoker.com and since I am up more than down I'll give them two thumbs up.

LoL guys... what do you exspect?? I hate to say it but why do you think that these sites have the headquaters way the **** out in Peurto Rico or basiclly butt-(blank) nowhere. I personally think they dont give 2 ****s about there players. (Sorry for the blanks i censor myselfy)
They give you the runn around and hope that youll eventually forget about it and move on.
And besides... I dont think theres any regulations for any of these poker sites to follow anyways.. if they mess up its o well to bad (if your lucky enough to get even that out of them)

To be fair, I have had my account closed by Paddy Power (due to being in the netherlands, they don't support NL) and they sent me my cheque within a week.
Pokerstars, I recieved my pokernews bonus after just one email to remind them about it, and I found the customer service to be good.
Crazy poker (AWFUL client) also refunded my money wihting 2 weeks.
I have signed up for pokerinside, but had not yet got round to downloading cd poker, seeing as everyone is letting everyone know about bad experiences, thought it only fair to let people know that some customer services people appear to be doing their jobs.
Good luck on getting your bonuses etc..... I have been quite lucky till now.
As to why people play online, even cheats can be beaten if you play correctly

have 2 agree with the bad rep of CD. I worked hard and qualified for the $500,000 tourny. The day before the tourny they dropped me because I was from the US. Did they have to do this no. Not to mention being dropped from the server and losing tournys while I was in first place. BETTER STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE
I WOULD like to mention bodog poker. Just tried the site. WON so decided to try the pay out. The money was in my account in less than 1 HOUR!! WON again the second day so tried the payout again. The money was in my netteller account in less than 5 MINUTES. 2 ME THAT IS SERVICE!

AAAAAARRRRGH.
Just started an account on here. and within an hour random log outs in the middle of a game.
1. in a hand, put someone goes all-in I have the nuts. then curously ass I call I get kicked out and he discconnects and the bet doesn't go through. I get kicked out and can't log back in.
2. finally get back online, have lost over 5 dollars of my money and no explanation of what hte hell happened.
Been kicked out of tournaments, they have sent me invites for tournaments but then not sent me the tickets to register etc....
inredibly sloddy service.
What I will say is that till now their customer support has been responsive and pleasant, but they cannot solve the technical issues.
I am not sure I wille ver be using CD poker again.
