PokerRoom WSOP Freeroll

Hi. Today at 15:00 EST the PokerNews WSOP Freeroll on PokerRoom was due to take place. Unfortunately at the last minute it was cancelled by PokerRoom. Please see explanation below.

We at PokerRoom.com are extremely sorry to say that due to technical problems, we were forced to cancel the tournament.

Players who had received tickets to the tournament were in some cases not able to register and it was decided that the tournament should be re-scheduled in order for all players to be able to participate.

We understand that this is both frustrating and disappointing and are frustrated and disappointed ourselves that the freeroll could not be run as we had planned.

Next week you will all receive tickets to the tournament which will be held next weekend instead. We will send you an email inviting you to take part in the tournament, and then open it up for immediate registration.

Once again, please accept our apologies for the cancellation of the tournament, and we look forward to seeing you at the tables next week.
