WARNING - Poker Host Stole My Money - PokerHost.com = Rogue

So I decide PokerHost.com would be a good place to play poker (stupidly).

I deposit $1000 via Neteller... their client says "Transaction Successful" but when I go into my cashier I don't see any money! Weird I thought, I guess the transaction didn't go through! I go to neteller.com just to double check - but wait, $1000 has been taken out of my neteller account by PokerHost! So, they have my money, but they are not giving me credit for it! WHAT THE HELL! Immediately I contact their online support... where they told me some BS about how $1000 was too much to deposit. I told them that I didn't give a flying f*ck if they thought it was too much to deposit (you know your a poker room meant for low rollers when $1000 in too large a deposit) and that they took the money out of my neteller account therefore I either want it returned to my neteller or to be given credit for it so I can play poker. Poker support then told me it was "out of their hands" and that they will work on getting me my money... 24 hours later I still have not seen a penny. Do I honestly think they stole my money - no, I think I'll get it in the end... but what a BS poker room... WHEN A CUSTOMER MAKES A DEPOSIT, YOU HAVE TO CREDIT THEM IMMEDIATELY!!! If the deposit is too large, don't accept it. Any normal poker room would have immediately given me $1000 credit when they looked and saw I did indeed deposit successfully and then they'd deal with their backend problems on their own time. Poker Host's website was also hacked 2 days ago and the hacker fished the person details of hundreds of poker players (I found this out after I deposited... err, attempted to deposit). I wouldn't trust Poker Host with a mosquitos life! In my books, Poker Host is ROGUE. Exercise your right as a consumer and spread the word!

that sucks, maybe contact neteller and tell them, maybe they can do something about it.

You were really unlucky! Anyways, at their site, they have the maximum and minimum for deposits, and certainly $1000 is not listed! The problem there was Neteller!

I have been playing for them for the past year and had experience no problem whatsoever!

In fact, I really liked the way they handled the 100k tournament that they had last month. No strings attached and able to withdraw at any moment your winnings if you were to win any!

The new software its just much better than the one that they had before and with new features for us customers!

and how did you made that withdraw? I have moneybookers and a visa card.
Do I need to wager it? I had a little $60 win on that 100K

Hey, I have been playing Poker Host tables and tournaments for a long time and it has been great, you should contact Neteller to fix the problem, this site is pretty good.

From what I understand, Poker Host withdraw options are listed at the website, but havinga Visa card will do no good as they will not send any money back to credit cards, I asked for the same and thats what they told me. They use Neteller, Western Union, also submit checks, but you should check on their website and make sure what is the withdraw method that works best for you.

The problem was a matter of time, I found the same post in another place, the same guy posted that the money was there a little while after...
(http://www.internettexasholdem.com/phpbb2/ warning-poker-host-stole-my-money-pokerhostcom-rogue-vt40015.html)
sometimes banks or financial entities take time... Confirmed then it was Neteller. Anyways decide yourself, no problems on my side when deposit/withdrawing on PH.

The other part of the post above, I think it was on their website. No info was in risk there, they told me the info database is far apart from the one on their site. Can someone confirm this?
