Sorry, we made a mistake and published the incorrect date for the PokerStars Team PokerNews freeroll. The correct date is Sept 17, 15:00 EST. Apologies for the inconvenience and good luck next week!

What if we downloaded PokerStars on your own and not through this or any other site?

You wont be eligible to play in this freeroll. We provide best promotions to loyal players who sign up through us.
The only way to keep them best is to keep them private and Special.

I have been in communications with PokerStars, and they have told me I didn't sign up through your links. I know I did especially because I played in your event earlier this year where each player at the final table received w$ 650. Do you have records of me to help me out on this? I play exclusively through your links and only returned to Stars for the purpose of this tournament.
Thanks

I have the same problem, they say I snuck into the first freeroll. Oh well.

I still haven't received a ticket to get into the freeroll. I don't understand, I did everything that I was supposed to to be allowed into it. I deposited money and earned 100 fpp's. What gives!

Its been days and I still have recieved no response from PokerStars. Is there anything I can do?
Thanks

Unfortunately, I think that all people who signed up last year may have had their referals erased so pokerstars doesn't know who refered us. Talk to live help on here.

Here is the response I received from PokerStars. It took 2 to 3 weeks to recieve. I am posting it because I am offended by their lack of class. They didn't even spell check. They accused me of being a liar, and further they obviously have been keeping POKERNEW's referral money. If it weren't for the stupid US legislation I would never return to their site, but since they are the only big site staying in the US market I have a dilemma.
I have used this site for freerolls at almost every site that has been offered by pokernews. I offered proof of this account being created through PokerNews too. I hope something could be done though I doubt the little man will win this time.
H*****,
Here is the issue. Your account was created prior to Pokernews even having an affiliate relationship with us. Therefore it would have been impossible for you to have created your account through their affiliate link - it didn't exist. You were previously entered into a Pokernews freeroll by asking to be put in and manually being registered. Your account was not on the list of those automatically receiving tickets because of the fact that you are not actually a referral of Pokernews.
The idea behing the freerolls is that Pokernews is rewarding those who signed up through them (and that they have been compensated for). Because of the fact that you did not sign up throguh them, they have not been compensated for your account and your account will never appear on the automatically generated lists. Please do not request to be added to any more Pokernews freerolls, we have will be unable to do so in the future.
By adding you to the freerolls it is unfair to those who did actually qualify.
Regards,
Chris
