Hi guys I recently tried Tony G Poker and I think it is a great site with a great promotion that is currently being run through poker news here. The only thing is there are not a lot of players at the moment. There is enough players to have 1 game at 2/4 LHE and some of the higher limits but other than that it is great. The competition is pretty soft and like I mensioned the bosus is great and clears very fast.
P.S. Poker News we need more bonus hunter articles the info in these articles is great, not just the bonus infor but the strategy advice.

Tony G Poker is also nice if you want to build up your bankroll, there are loads of 1 cent buy-in turneys with some money added and low competition.
1 more thing I like about it, is choose your seat, you can turn the table however you like it, and I love to sit in my SW corner.

Tony G Poker is very nice, it's great to see the traffic being good already. Those $0.01 tournaments will be great for new players, and I, like Gedas like the fact that you can move the table around how you want.

Tony G is a cool place to play,
i haven't had my A's cracked yet...lol
but KK is killing me.
i mostly like the bounty games with Tony G in them.
one thing i would like to see, is a spot to see my raked hands..have no clue how many i have, but 500 for a 2K freeroll souds good to me.. thanks Tony G.

Not complaining, just offering my observations.
I've been playing at TonyG's for about a week now. There is a very limited clientelle. It's rare to find a semi to full table of $1/$2 LHE, so I'm forced to play low limit NL.
Because I'm a recreational player it's going to be nearly impossible to playoff the Pokernews Bonus.
And though I've received none, I've seen more quads in the last week than I've seen in the last year. No less than 5 sets at the same table in 2 hours one evening and the guy on my right had 'em twice.

Well, I had the same. My account is deactivated and I have $1600,- on it. I mailed them my ID and utility bill. They replyed to me that they sent it to the adminstration. But I didn't get any respons from them. I asked for an answer but didn't get any respons. My account is deactivated for 2 weeks now. And I want to play again but can't.
It seems to me that I can say bye to my account? I'm very disappointed about this site. The software is fine but the support really sucks.

There wasn't a reason. They did it to more people I believe. They called it a general ID check of several accounts. But I still haven't had an answer.. I hope I will get an answer soon because It's a lot of money for me.

my account has been deactived also after a inter-transfer (after depositing $10 for the bonus) i have send my personal ID and waiting for 2 weeks or longer
11-20-2006 11:30
Well I got the free $75 (when it was no deposit required) and made my 750+FPP - and I have requested a withdrawal for $375 so I will let you all know how it goes.
I havent had my account locked or anything (neither should I) so here's hoping.
11-29-2006 02:56
Yeah, please let me know. My account is deactivated for almost 4 weeks now, and they don't respond to any mail I sent them.
11-29-2006 09:31
Hello!
That stuff is true, my account is also locked. I made it before the bonus,
so did not get that $75, but I tried to catch the fishes so I deposited,
and they locked my account one day. I had to write mails,
I thought this is a checking or something,
and they really wait too long with the replys.
after one or a half week got that they are going to send it forward somewhere..
again 2 weeks waiting, than they asked my id and a copy of a bill
I have sended that last friday.
I really hope something gonna happen!
crazy but I haven't done anything illegal.
Has anyone deposited and made a withdraw as well?

Hmmm...I'm just beginner player and was very satisfied about Tony G, but now after reading this I still want to believe that it's gonna be Ok.

I made a recent withdrawal using Neteller and the transaction was completed within hours.
I do have a problem with their recent server upgrade. Connectivity has deteriorated significantly for many players, myself included using HS DSL, slowing play so bad that during tournament play blinds often increase before the button makes one round of the table. Tech support supposedly working the issue. I like playing there, but after 2 weeks of this, I'm starting to look elsewhere for may action.

Another bad beat at Tony G! The site failed to run their Player Reward 2K on Sunday as advertised. No explanation was given and when asked when it would be run, the answer from "support" was, "We don't know, but we'll ask." What's a player to do? Hopefully, they will grandfather all of us that met the requirement to qualify for the cancelled tournament. I guess false advertising doesn't apply in the online world.

Tony G poker can be fine until you try to withdraw. Their policy is only to respond to 1 mail and then totally ignore the rest. E-mail is the only way of reaching them. I finaly got my money, but there are sites with better traffic and service, so why bother. They are very nice with deposits, so you wouldn't know till when your try to get out
...I posted my issue at 2+2 when i had the problem, and many others had similar fate.
