Its been a busy week at work, but I would have sworn there was a PN freeroll on UB today. I can't find the darn thing anywhere on their site. Am I just losing it?

yup.. usually auto registerd.. but there was nothing tonight

Seems like UB does this every once in a while - forgets to put our freeroll on the schedule. Any plans to reschedule it?

The Poker News freeroll has been cancelled. This will be available again by
October 14th 2006. Please keep on checking the game board for updates on this
matter.

Does this mean that anyone who qualified for this freeroll will automatically qualify for the next one. I'm not on an unlimited budget as far as poker funds go, and I try to play enough on each site to qualify for the PN freerolls when I can. Had I know there wasn't going to be a freeroll on UB this month - I would have used that money to qualify for other PN tourneys.

Better question - how long have the powers that be known this freeroll wasn't going to take place. I thought I saw it on the upcoming calander a few days ago as taking place in "1day 15 hours....... etc".

Ultimate Bet cancelled this freeroll without our knowledge. We are waiting to see how this will be handled. At the very least we will make sure you can get in the next one with the points you have already earned.

That sounds great. I should have known it was UB's issue to begin with. You guys take great care of us. Just let us know the particulars on how to get registered in the next one (don't know that I'll be playing much poker for a few weeks).

In fact - make UB double the prize pool since they hung us out to dry on the last one. (Ok - I can dream, can't I???? lmao)

Ok - call me a little paranoid after last month, but UB still hasn't put our freeroll up. I just logged in to make sure my invite was there for this one (since I haven't been playing much at all this month, and I know I haven't accumulated the required points for this freeroll). Seems like they get everyone elses private tourneys up at least a week in advance, but our don't go up until so close to start time that we can't make any necessary adjustments or changes.

I'll keep a look out. I totally trust the PN people to make sure anyone who was shut out of the cancelled tourney gets an invite to this one.

UB on the other hand, has something to prove in my eyes.

i made the required points for the UB freeroll ,dont see it listed and have not recieved an invite from PN is it gonna b cancelled .

would like to sign up for the oct 14th freeroll i've accumulated the 100pnts and ready to play

If you signed up through pokernews and accumulated 100 points before the 11th you should be able to register. It is probably under multitable tournaments, special or private.

If you can't, e-mail ultimate bet support.

Its usually under free games / scheduled tournaments. I still don't see it up there though.

Does anyone know when the next $3,000 monthly freeroll on UB is? Also, is the freeroll a one time deal, or can you do it more than one time? If so, how do you qualify again?

Check the link under freeroll tournaments. The next UB tourney is on November 25th. The notes tell you how to qualify.

Thanks for your help. I understand that there is a $12,000 Aussie Millions Freeroll on November 25, but are there going to be anymore MONTHLY $3,000 Freerolls coming up in the coming months? For example there was one previously on October 14, 2006 and it says in the description of UB on PokerNews' website "Collect 100 points and play in our exclusive $3000 freerolls every month!"?

for now we have stopped this monthly freerolls promotion due to Aussie millions freeroll. After it we will start it again.

Why havent there been anymore UB monthly $3000 freerolls listed? It has been almost 2 months!!

Relax - they probably have to negotiate with UB since its a new year.

Attention is probably on team PN at the Aussie Millions right now. Just take it easy and wait for things to work out. Gedas did say they would probably start back up after the Aussie Mil.
